It’s uncomfortable and awkward, and can be downright unpleasant.  No one likes doing it.

But getting your affairs in order in case of a medical emergency or a catastrophic event makes good sense.

No one ever plans to be sick or disabled. Yet, it’s just this kind of planning (and making sure you have a current will and power of attorney) that can make all the difference in an crisis.
